I have NO clue why this is called an Irish Buck. I just wanted something different to make for St Patrick’s Day, and this came up on my Kindle Fire ap as a suggestion.
It is actually really tasty and refreshing – they were perfect for a St Patrick’s Day when the temp along Colorful Colorado’s front range was in the mid 70s.
What You Need:
- 1 ½ oz Irish whiskey
- Ginger ale
- Lemon peel
What You Do:
Pour the whiskey into a highball glass filled with ice (or into a pint glass, if you live in Colorado and everything revolves around beer) 🙂 :
Twist the lemon peel over the glass and then drop it in (if you get close to the glass you can see the oils spattered from the peel. Mmmmm lemony oils.)
Then top it with the ginger ale and enjoy (see all of the little spatters?)
